Here’s a list of all the books I read this month!

The Tea Dragon Society by Katie O’Neill

Genre: Graphic Novel/Fantasy

“The Tea Dragon Society” is a beautiful, heart-warming graphic novel/children’s fairytale about tea dragons: strange, hard-to-raise creatures that can store memories. It follows the story of a blacksmith’s daughter called Greta throughout one year as she grows and discovers the value of memories, friendship, patience and bravery.

I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou

Genre: Autobiography

A very powerful, interesting and emotional book, “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings” follows Maya Angelou’s life from the ages of three to sixteen. I think everyone should read this.

The Seven Dials Mystery by Agatha Christie

Genre: Detective Fiction

“The Seven Dials Mystery” started out a bit weak, but got a lot better. It follows Bundle, a young woman trying to solve a series of murders. I loved the resolution and everything fit into place beautifully. However, I wasn’t a fan of Bundle, who seemed a bit of a Mary-Sue.

And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

Genre: Detective Fiction

One of Agatha Christie’s most famous books, “And Then There Were None”, certainly lives up to its reputation. Ten murders find themselves on an isolated island. One by one, they are killed off, each murder corresponding to a line of the poem “Ten Little Indians”.

Career of Evil by Robert Galbraith

Genre: Mystery/Crime

Another fantastic Cormoran Strike novel. In “Career of Evil”, Robin and Strike’s reveal details abut their pasts, while trying to figure out who out of four possible suspects sent Robin a severed leg.
